There exists a special place in the world...the region is known as Jerez where the waiting to be discovered jewel...Sherry...is created.

The Sherry district occupies a triangle created by the historic towns of Jerez de la Frontera, El Puerto de Santa Maria and Sanlucar de Barrameda. The land is undulating with vineyards stretching as far as the eye can see. Intertwining cobblestone streets, iron grille work over open windows and colourful geraniums hanging on walls greet the eye at every turn.

Jerez de la Frontera while a modern town, a turn down this lane and a quick left there...and you are whisked to centuries long gone. The magnificent Cathedral of Jerez with its art treasures and the Moorish Alcazar await discovery.

In Jerez, we visit the Royal Equestrian School where awe-inspiring displays of horsemanship are presented to audiences. We will experience the passion of flamenco. And of course, we visit the great Sherry houses of Domecq, Gonzalez Byass, Lustau and Sandeman.

El Puerto de Santa Maria has magnificent churches, noble homes and palaces which offer much for the eye to enjoy. Puerto is also home to the great Sherry house of Osborne whose bodega is as much a monument to architecture as it is to Sherry.

Sanlucar de Barrameda is on the Atlantic coast. The rustic bars are from another era and serve the most elegant Sherry,..Manzanilla. We will visit Bodegas Delgado Zuleta, founded in 1719. Their Manzanillas are lean, elegant and so delightfully tangy in their youth and breathtaking when aged.

Enjoy the exotic cuisine of Andalusia , the authentic Spanish charm of our 4 star hotel the “Tryp Jerez”, a restored mansion in the heart of town….This is the land of Sherry….Please join us!
